  • Best Vehicle I have owned

This is definitely a great vehicle. Get the 2017 before they are gone. This car rides great, phenomenal acceleration and creature comforts abound. This car holds the road like a sports car due to the rear wheel drive. I dont live in the snowbelt but they have all wheel drive for those folks. Much has been said about the bad gas mileage, but my trip computer says 24.4 mpg right now (on premium). Admittedly I live in a rural area, but I always use the sport setting in the transmission. I test drove several new vehicles including a volvo xc60 and acura RDX. I narrowed my choice between the RDX and qx50. The RDX has a lot more trunk space (my only gripe about the QX50), rides softer and get better gas mileage. Why did I get the QX50? The qx50 gets oh so sweet handling, 325 hp (0-60 in 5.5), nice comfy room for 4, a great quiet ride, and such a sweet deal on the car. I bought it for less that a loaded CRV which is not a comparable vehicle. I got the premium and premium plus packages. These vehicles are the last of the genuine powerful breed. The QX50 redesign has a 268 hp turbo 4 where this one has the Nissan FM v/6 (read Z car engine and platform). I have had and loved 4 Hondas in my life, but this QX50 is by far my favorite vehicle. These vehicles are now heavily discounted to move them off the lots. Get the deal of a lifetime and discover the most hidden gem in the automotive industry. I know I love mine. MPG is not the be all and end all of every vehicle. When you need to pass you dont have to decide should I go now or not like I used to have to do with a 4 cylinder. I feel safer now, even my accord coupe v/6 did not have this much power. Sure, I wish it got 30 mpg, but the power it has and the gas mileage it gets is like skipping a fast food restaurant meal one day a week for the premium and less fuel mileage difference. That is one sacrifice I am happy to make!!

We were looking to get Honda CRV or Nissan Rogue, but once we testdrove the Infiniti, it was no contest. We already have Honda Minivan (kids love it) with Nav and entertainment system (Honda is our long trip car). So the second car was to be for shorter/fun trips. Yes, the mileage in the city is not that great, but on the highway we got 28.6 mpg. Since we use public transit for commuting to work, we did not mind the mileage. Reliability and great safety was big for us. We got Jurney AWD with leather seats and technology package. We have our own navigation system and saved a couple of thousand dollars on the camera/lane departure warning (the car has great sensors front and back for parking). The car is very responsive, high tech and just plain fun to drive. Many standard features. Sufficient room in the back for our 9.5, 5.5 children and my mom. Not sure it is good for a 6 footer plus if there is a passenger in the back...not our problem. My husband is 5"10'' and the car accomodates an average height adult behind him perfectly well.

The engineers at Infiniti did an outstanding job designing this car! My EX35 rides like a dream. Beautiful craftsmanship in the interior. I love the subtle curves of the exterior design...it gives the EX a true personality and makes it stand out from all the other crossovers out there. I've had this vehicle for about a year and a half and it has performed flawlessly. Acceleration and handling are effortless,
